The St-James Theatre has three distinct halls: the Imperial Ballroom, the White Star Vault Room and the Princess Grace Mezzanine. All three halls are rented together, allowing exclusive and unfeathered access to the entire building
The Princess Grace Mezzanine can also be rented separately for smaller occasions on weekdays and select weekends one to two months in advance
IMPERIAL BALLROOM
Complete with 70 feet high stone walls, marble & wood floors and a suspended stained-glass dome, the Imperial Ballroom is the St-James Theatre's main hall.
Ornate and grandiose, this 7,000 square foot space seats up to 500 guests in a banquet format and can receive up to 700 guests in a cocktail dinatoire format
The Imperial Ballroom is equipped with state of the art sound, lighting & projection systems and an adjustable portable stage, features that greatly enhance the venue’s atmosphere and make events that much more spectacular & memorable
The original safe provides the perfect backdrop for a champagne room, scotch bar, photo booth, lounge or candy bar while the President’s Office & Annex are ideal for a sweet table, coffee lounge, bar area, VIP suite, bridal room and more
WHITE STAR VAULT ROOM
Formerly the headquarters of the White Star Line Cruise-Ship Company, the White Star Vault Room is located on the lower level of the St-James Theatre. Up to 50 tickets for the Titanic were once sold in this very room!
The White Star Vault Room can receive up to 250 guests in a banquet format and up to 500 guests in a cocktail dinatoire format. It is accessible via a grand staircase and a service elevator
The White Star Vault Room is complete with a large vault and safety deposit cubicles that provide a unique backdrop for a cloak room, lounge area, scotch bar, art display, auction room and more
The White Star Vault Room also boasts beautiful new bathrooms tucked away in a former vault
The venue’s new catering area, complete with top of the line equipment, is also located on this floor
PRINCESS GRACE MEZZANINE
The Princess Grace Mezzanine is located on the second floor of the St-James Theatre and looks out onto The Imperial Ballroom. Newly renovated, it is ideal for hosting intimate affairs such as wedding ceremonies, corporate luncheons, conferences & more
In addition to its beautiful hardwood floors and gorgeous 20 feet detailed ceilings, the Mezzanine has five balconies overlooking the Imperial Ballroom and five balconies overlooking Old Montreal’s Saint-Jacques Street. Preferred by DJs, performers and speakers alike, these balconies provide additional viewing areas for guests seated in the main hall
The Princess Grace Mezzanine is accessible via a staircase and an original elevator
The Princess Grace Mezzanine has its own entrance and can be rented separately on weekdays and select weekends one to two months in advance
